St Mary's Fellowship Groups

Opportunities to Grow as Christians

Contact: The Vicar

At the beginning of 2003 the parish launched a number of fellowship groups. These groups provide the opportunity to meet with other Christians to learn more about the Christian faith and to worship God in a less formal setting.

There are currently two evening groups which meet fortnightly on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
A daytime group is meeting monthly on a Monday afternoon.

From February 2003 a group will be starting particularly for those on the 'fringes' of the church. The 'First Friday group' will meet in the Parish Hall Guild Room from 10.00-11.30am monthly. Discussions will be based around recent news topics, TV programmes and issues of concern with the intention of seeing whether the Christian faith has any contribution to make to our thinking. All are welcome - to these informal meetings (including young children who can play whilst their carers talk).
